Rosé is a Lifestyle

Years before this delightfully pink vin extraordinaire became the fashionable beverage of choice for classy millennial ladies across the nation, my Gram Cracker was single handedly keeping the rosé market afloat.

She imparted the love of rosé to the ladies of my family and that certainly includes me. In fact, I have probably been her best student.

There is a definite reason that rosé is such a flawless choice for a glass of wine; you get the best of the red and white grapes in one perfectly chilled sip.

Being the enthusiast that I am, I took a seminar on all things rosé, and learned that it is basically made from red grape varietals processed using the methods typically reserved for white grapes.

So it truly is the year-round wine of choice. There is literally nothing better to satisfy your craving for red or white. À votre santé!

Rosé Recs:

I have tasted pretty much any rosé I could get my hands on. And there is not that much of a difference in taste and quality between the mid-level brands and the super-pricey-special-occasion-only ones. So, I came up with a personal philosophy that won't condone spending more than $20 for a bottle.

Here Are My Top Five Go-To Sips:

Gérard Bertrand Côte des Roses

This is an obvious no-brainer. Besides being housed in the most gorgeous bottle (that I definitely save and use as a vase later), this wine is the chef's kiss of rosé. It has a gorgeous full body, yet is light and crisp and won't make you feel weighed down like other wines can.

Yes Way Rosé

I first bought this wine because I am a sucker for a great name, and how cute is this? I didn't expect much at all, but was pleasantly shocked at how lovely this wine was. It is delightfully dry, pairs well with everything, and makes the perfect host(ess) gift.

La Ferme Julien

This wine is just $5, but you would never believe it. It is deliciously balanced with citrus undertones and is the absolute choice weeknight bottle of rosé. Huge plus: it won't leave you groggy or foggy the next day! Not bad for a wine that is only the cost of a Lincoln.

Mumm Napa Rosé Brut

Every wine list needs to have at least one sparkling option, and this is my favorite rosé to cheers with! It is not sweet like other sparkling wines and you can pretty much drink this all night long. No celebratory occasions needed.

Babe Rosé

I put this on my list, because not only does it come in a can, but it tastes just as good as the other bottled picks on this page. It is the ideal rosé to keep in the fridge to help you keep yourself honest and "only have one." But it also is a perfect rosé to have at the beach or a barbecue because the can makes it convenient and durable.

I hope that you are thoroughly craving a refreshing glass of rosé after visiting this page and that you pour yourself one and enjoy! Cheersies!
